Nov 03 16:24:13 <Aeroraptor>	why are people so obsessed with running the latest crap on EVERYTHING
Nov 03 16:24:22 <Aeroraptor>	I hear people bitching that it doesn't run on G3s
Nov 03 16:25:02 <macgeek>	I'm not obsessed, I'm just curious as to why it runs on some G4s and not others.
Nov 03 16:25:36 <Aeroraptor>	very very very simple
Nov 03 16:25:50 <Aeroraptor>	because some G4s are faster, and thus more capable of newer software, than others
Nov 03 16:26:05 <macgeek>	I see
Nov 03 16:26:08 <Aeroraptor>	a dual 1.7GHz G4 is a bit faster than 350MHz G4 on a 70MHz bus
Nov 03 16:26:09 <Aeroraptor>	see?
Nov 03 16:26:15 <macgeek>	mhm
Nov 03 16:26:30 <Aeroraptor>	same as a p4 1.5GHz is _slower_ than a 3.6GHz p4ht
Nov 03 16:26:40 <macgeek>	mhm...
