Ok. The subject is basically client/server application ( assignment though). I have a client on my machine which has 192.168.2.11, i have also a modem connected via ethernet to my machine (ip:192.168.2.1). Now, Since my client is listening on a port, the upcoming server resquest can't connect because i have there frameware pre-installed modems (isp customized which block pretty much any direct upcoming connection). Now, i have my client listening on a port which the server cannot access. I got to unlock my modem and having access to advanced setup like firewall and port forwarding. My question is, how would I port forward the client open port (via my modem connected via ethernet) so that my external ip (internet) would have this open port too (recognized and utilized by the server).
