Site Levels System Concept - Gain xp for being active in different site areas to boost your level. The higher your level, the more privileges you have. XP cannot go in the negatives. Areas for XP Gain: Each day they visit the site = 50 xp for visiting the site or forums at all; 10 xp for each guide/db entry they view. Up to 100 points per day. Posting on forums = 10 xp per post that is either not rated or is in positive ratings. If it's rated negatively, this xp is deducted. This will ensure meaningful posts rather than wasted posts for free xp. Karma/Feedback = 25xp given for every positive rating you get from another user. This user must be level 5 or higher to rate you and can only rate you one time forever, unless they choose to withdraw a positive rating, which deducts this 25xp and will let them choose to re-review (can post positive or negative after that). Negative ratings will only show poorly on a Karma meter. Submitting updates to guide steps = Reviewer will rate it on a scale of 0-10. 0 = Absolute crap. No points awarded for this. 1-3 = Not approved or needed, but effort was shown. A multiplyer of x10 will be given to these. For example, if it's rated a 2, 20xp is awarded. 4-10 rate approved, used things into the guides. This will rate minor to important changes. An example of a 4 is a grammatical fix, while an example of a 10 is an added important picture or instruction that is critical to success in the quest. Submitting ItemDB entries = Rated on a scale of 0-10. Same x10 multiplyer applies. 0 = Not used. 1-10 = Approved, rated on a scale of usefulness and item rarity. A 1 means it's either not very helpful (example, with no picture and not much info). A 5 indicates an entry with helpful information with pictures, etc. A 10 indicates an entry with helpful info, pictures, and on a rare item, an example of this would be a Dragon Half Shield entry with pictures, examine info, purpose/how to use, etc.
