                    a community conference type thing about the issues of 
                    racism, sexism, and homophobia

                    experiences, worries, pains, and so on for hours
[19:41] < krazykit> and so now near the end, they've called on the president to 
                    personally apologize for his disrespectful comments
[19:41] < krazykit> but he refused!  he twisted his comment saying "you picked 
                    your battle, and this was it"
[19:42] < krazykit> and he finally pulled it back in talking about what changes 
                    are happening and then finally personally apologizing.
