Woohoo! I'm a member now after tonight's practice. That sure was memorable. We first played Tremor for a while, building bases in the box room so that me and Theos could practice pouncing on a naked Quintin. As homoerotic as that just sounded, it was actually fun, and I got a lucky headshot or two before Quintin suddenly decided to nuke our base. Or was it that we ran out of time? I don't remember. At least I had a chance to work on my goon skillz. The next map was ATCS, where me and Theos were against Quintin yet again, but this time as humans. This was also where I finally became a member, too. It was around the end, where Theos was dead, the reactor and armory and telenodes were down, and it was me with a painsaw versus Quintin as a granger. I frantically chased Quintin around the map before he could build a new base, and several times he managed to make partially built overminds that I quickly sawed down. The final showdown was on top of the bunker in the middle of the map, where I was down to 20 health, lacked a medikit, and only had a trusty painsaw. Quintin's granger was constantly wallwalking or jumping off the bunker, which was what got me down to 20 health, because it took me a while to realize that he was trying to kill me with gravity. Realizing this, I sprinted right into him, painsawing even while we were plummeting to our deaths. I won. Afterwards, we all played Karith for a loooooong time, where me and Theos as humans ubercamped on a ledge on the rocks in the outdoor part. It took about fifteen minutes before Theos left out of boredom, and I was left alone to mass driver Quintin's goon before someone else joined us. DarkEnix, I think. He was the head of some other clan, I think AHS, and was twelve years old both physically and in the way he acted. He camped even harder than Theos, and just jetpacked around while I was left with only enough money to afford a lasgun. Getting frustrated at the monotony (about ten minutes passed before a single bit of damage was done), I started shooting at Dark while he was in the air. At first they were just single shots to get him down a few feet, but after a while it was a habit. Whenever I saw Quintin's goon approaching on radar, i'd fire a few shots at Dark to get him low enough for him to get pounced. That was amusing for a while, but we were still at S2, and nothing was happening, until a lucky shot from Dark kills off Quintin and we got to S3. That was funny, you see, because I was just about to grenade our little base so that at least something interesting could happen. The final map before I had to leave was Niveus. It didn't last very long, either, because it was just me against Quintin and DarkEnix, who were aliens. I soon resorted to hiding out in some pipes after my base was destroyed, where I was able to narrowly dodge a goon by crouching into a space that it wouldn't be able to fit into. Of course, DarkEnix then sneaks up behind me as a dretch, and the game is lost. I then got out some frosted flakes and called it a night. Haha, oh wow.
