(19:13:09) < "a man went abroad on holiday. he met a woman and they fell in love. he asked her to marry him. the man went home" (19:13:15) < 220-250 słów Richard was your typical salesman. Dressed in lined-up suit, with nesesser in hand, and able to talk his way in and ouf of any situation. Nonetheless, he was only moderatly successfull at work. His litte tradition was to take a flight from JFK to Abraham's Springs. Then he rented a car and traveled to his shack, to read, fish and enjoy himself. One rainy october day, with flight delayed, Richard went into caffeteria to have a lunch. The only seat he could find was near by a woman in her early thirties. She was sat there with a distant look on her face, leant over plate with untouched meal. He asked for permission, and was granted by her with a simple nod. Richard, unaccustomed to a companion that silent, was unwillingly staring at her every now and then. She seemd not to notice at first, but then curiosity arose and responded with looks(word!) and even smile smile. From lunch to dessert to cocktail, somehow Richard felt like siting with her rather than going through the papers taken from work. `The name's Ashley', she broke the silence finally. Richard missed the first announcment for the flight, and when the second was made, he quickly scribbled his phone number and made a dash for(to?) the gate (rękaw? tunel? kolejka? samolot?). Months passed by, flight shedules changed, but Ashley and Richard kept meeting. Friendship matured, trust, and finally passion. As he learned to communicate with her weighting every word, he discovered his customers were keen on this new way, and his sales rose. One year later, Richard finally made up his mind. `Ashley, there's something I've got to tell you.', he said, pulling out box with engagement ring. `I'd like to ask you, if --' `I... I can't. I couldn't possibly marry you', she bursted into tears. `What's wrongh, honey, please...' Richard was starled She pulled out box, opened and showed him a very plain ring. `He disappeared two weeks later. They called it <>. I waited, waited for eight last years. And then you came around. You walk like Gregor, you dress like him, you even use the same perfume. But your voice, it's different. I... I can't stand it, you're so much like him, and yet...' Richard noded, turned and walked away. (?Even thou he was taking his usual flight from JFK,?) they never met again.
