Jack,

First, I will not be moving any ships this term, as you're right, it
is a huge hassle and I don't believe it's necessary.

Second, I was rather suprised that Therle did not inform you in email
prior to all of this happening.  I expect my FComms to be on good
communication terms with their COs, and while his words in the report
were technically informing you, he could have done it a lot better.
However, he has reprimanded himself for that, so I consider that
aspect of the problem solved.

As for your other questions, I'm afraid I can't answer them.  I have
no clue what him putting your ship on warning means, but I personally
have no plans to decomission the Valkyrie, and he certainly can't do
so for the next month without me!  I only planned to decomission two
ships this term, and they're both spoken for.

I also would not support him removing your XO from his position simply
for his lack of fleet report filing.  However, since your XO's
attendence record is also a bit weak, I do believe Therle has a bit of
a case against him.  I don't know what you've said to your XO about
it, but it might not hurt to explain to him that reports are just a
fact of being in command, and it really doesn't have to be an essay or
anything.

As for your feelings, I suggest you bring them up to Therle.  I
appreciate you letting me know, becuase I certainly like feedback on
my FComms.  Depending on who is president next term, I will probably
make them aware of the problems that Fleet 1 has had with Therle.  But
unfortunately, there is no one to replace him with right now, and even
if there were, I'm not sure I would just because it's so close to the
end of the term.

If you tell him your thoughts and he ignores you, let me know and I
will chat with him about it, because I do understand what you're
saying.  It's not *all* about the reports, and being on the Valk
myself, I personally know she's ticking along fine.  The mission might
not be there yet, but the activity is fine.
