      Panther LSS-14P High Performance Slab Saw. Delivers straight smooth cuts in the hardest agate or petrified wood at twice the speed of standard saws. This is a quiet, clean, bench top saw that doubles cutting capacity without doubling cost or space. Features the Panther(TM) 14" premium blade & a fast fixed rate power feed. This blade performs at a 50% higher RPM than the Lortone standard blade & allows this machine to deliver cuts at 17 1/2" per hour.       Vibrating Lap These rugged 15" & 20" Vibrating Laps are used to flat grind & polish slabs, geodes, petrified wood, bookends & clock faces. They come with one rubber-supported cast aluminum grinding pan & a separate polish pan. These pans vibrate at 1600+ cycles/min. Cushioned adjustable feet & a heavy steel frame enclose all working parts for quiet, trouble-free operation. The pans are easily removable for clean-up.

      Sturdy, durable Beaver (TM) arbors are ideal starter units and can be equipped as complete cabochon machines, 2 wheel or 4 wheel models are available in both 6" & 8" diameters.     • Small Capacity Tumblers

      We carry the Lortone brand of tumblers. The smaller tumblers offer 1 lb. to 4 lb. capacities. Each is quiet, sturdy, simple to operate, and delivers excellent results. All feature the patented LORTONE moulded rubber barrel with a quick-seal closure and continuous-duty fan-cooled motor. UL and CSA approved. One year warranty!!

      Tumblers are usually used to polish rocks, but they also make for a convenient way to polish jewellery.

      Each size of tumbler requires that you fill the barrel 3/4 to 7/8 full of rock. You cannot tumble polish one rock -- the action of tumbling is rocks-on-rocks. Your access to the necessary amount of rock should be taken into account when choosing your size of tumbler. If you come back from a weekend trip with a 5 gallon bucket of rocks -- consider the larger tumblers!! If you come back with a pocketful of rocks, the smaller sizes are more suitable to your needs.

      NOTE: "Soap" is the only safe way to clean your tumbler and rocks, and Ivory Soap is one of the only *true* soaps still on the market. We offer shredded soap for you to use to clean your barrel between rock loads or to use when tumble polishing jewellery with carbon steel shot. $6.00/1000 ml container

      The QT12 is the largest tumbler available on a regular basis. (If you would like to do more, larger rocks, 20 lb. and 40 lb. tumblers are available by special order. The QT12 requires 12 lbs. of rock and, again, a mixture of sizes is necessary to get the best polish on your rocks.
