4. for clean power generation? yes and no.. i think that wind power is fine but it's not a reliable source of power(this of course depends on the locale).. i also think that wind power is in no way a good solution for clean power.. solar power is most definitely the most relaibale RENEWABLE power source.. probably followed by water turbines... the problem of course with solar power is that you only get it during the day but i think it is the most promising(of RENEWABLE energy sources) however i personally think that the answer the clean power is quite simple and has been around for a long time.. nuclear power(fission for now and possible fusion in the future) nuclear power is not considered a renewable power source but it is considered to be a sustainable power source... yes i know the hippies are going to go nuts now at what i just said :P but to be perfectly honest as long as we're not having nuclear powered cars there is very very little chance of there being anymore nuclear accidents considering that the technology has improved vastly.. sure now you're going to say "what about all the nuclear waste?" well i say to you yucca mountain and places like that are perfect for it... in case you're not sure what yucca mountain is it's a facility where they bury nuclear waste in EXTREMELY secure containers(they can take HUGE punishment... like direct collisions with trains etc. without breaking) so they aren't going to be leaking and then contaminating underground water and they're safe... nuclear power is a cheap and clean source of electricity.. if only the retarded hippie nuts would stop bitching about things i'm sure our planet would be in a much better place and pollution would be virtually eliminated(suck it up hippies! that's exactly what you want!) but alas... nuclear power may never be used because of the idiots who are against it and all the FUD spread about nuclear power.... on another topic there is the issue of cars still polluting and my answer to that is of course imo the best solution for cars... electric powered cars... they're quite sufficient for most of the world who travel to and from work and to school etc. etc. and they even go pretty far without a recharge for distance travelling(and do NOT fucking even bother bringing up plugin hybrids.. .they're not true electric cars... they have a LOT more weight due to having both an electrical motor and a gasoline engine... not to mention that their batteries are AWFUL... yes there are MUCH better batteries available ) ...it's really sad that if people weren't such idiots that we could have a clean environment without having to spend so much money on the crappy(yes they're CURRENTLY far too expensive for mass power generation.. yes i know it's more viable in some areas than others) renewable sources
