Initially there were nine user interface tests to test the GUI, and two tests to run the database. We were able to test three user interface tests on the GUI. Initial Test Procedures developed: 9 user interface GUI tests 2 database tests Test Procedures executed. 3 user interface GUI tests executed 5 database tests Final test procedures developed: 9 user interface GUI tests 20 database tests There is a more than a 10% difference in testing procedure difference, because the test team that wrote up the test cases didn’t fully understand how a database works. The test understood the front end, and that was more straight forward, but actually testing the database was more complicated. The test team originally thought it could use the test tools php db unit tool and the php unit tool to test the database and the backend, with very few tests cases to test the database. But as the project progressed along the test team realized that there only two cases for testing the database was not realistic, and could not cover all the entries in the database, so in the end there are 20 database tests.
