Our Northern Utah client is looking for a Senior C++ Developer.

The successful candidate will:

    * Gather business requirements
    * Develop and maintain custom business programs
    * Design and test to ensure quality implementations

This position requires excellent communication skills, taking initiative and ownership of their work, and working in a spirited team environment. The candidate may be asked to work extra hours as necessary.

Requirements:

    * A bachelor's degree in Information systems, Computer Science and/or equivalent work experience
    * 3-5 years of experience in Software Development,
    * 2+ years of experience with C/C++, UNIX, and Relational Databases.
    *  Java Servlets and C# experience a plus.
    * Ideally, the candidate would have experience in PL/SQL and Web Design (JSP/HTML, etc…).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    * Meet with users to recommend technical solutions to resolve business problems
    * Participate in design and code reviews
    * Primarily responsible for maintenance and enhancements of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software system that is integral to the company’s day to day operations
    * Implement agreed upon solutions to problems, analyze, design, code and test
    * Interface with other technical personnel at this site and others to ensure proper flow of data and ensure that working technical interfaces are maintained as systems change
    * Work with senior staff members on analysis and development of large projects
    * On occasion, work under tight deadlines to solve problems
    * Keep up-to-date with new enhancements in technology
    * Escalate problems that have an impact to the business

It's a 4-5 month contract that could be extended, located in Tremonton which is about 45 minutes north of Ogden. We can pay up to $42/hr.
