Splotches of red delicately cascaded upon my weary face From the fiery light upon the slender torch It's warmth spread across my neck, onto my cheeks, then finally resting just upon my forehead Oh how it's warmth set me off into such an effect of tranquility Into the distance stood a wall of Grey hazy fog settled within the vague remains of blocks now passed Figures moved almost rhythmically through the criss crossing streets As though they've done this dance of the streets day after day Day after day Week after week Follow the dance of the streets Day after day Week after week The droning dance of the streets Oh how it wore on my nerves Menacing Menacing streets The moon now unsheathed from the clouds sits blankly within the flurry of brightly colored stars Giving off a small blue tint, which now battled the warming red upon my face Delicately upon my face the red lay Now being sieged upon by tints of blue Cold now warm Warm now cold Move after move the colors battled for control over my weary face Move after move it lays its violent siege Upon the soothing warmth of the red flames Oh how it wore on my nerves Menacing Menacing cold
