With all the recent crying targeted at druids, Euro comp "omg skill-less" and TSG comp "skill-less warlock training". It seems that the sheer inability of people to formulate simple strategies for beating this comp warrants a video. http://files.filefront.com/PvsDavi/;9691543;/fileinfo.html RMP - vs. Druid/Hunter/Warlock. The standard chastise, fear, Counterspell blind rotation, whilst focusing dp/s and training down the Warlock wins the game. Chastise is an amazing ability, that should be available to all priests. Failure or inability to put out the required initial burst and crowd control is somewhat forgiving with this match-up. Keeping the Warlock dispelled whilst the CC chain is active on the Druid is key. 2345 vs. Euro comp. Much as above dispels on the Warlock are important. With heavy damage and dispels it forces the Priest to heal, failure to do so often results in a very fast kill. RMP vs. Druid/Rogue/Warrior. Much as above with the Druid/Hunter/Lock comp, however the absence of the Hunter removes Viper Sting from the equation and allows for a much easier kite for your Mage. Chain dispelling + chastise->fear->blind/CS/MC wins these games. 2345 vs Euro comp. Better overall team this time. Priest go for heals instead of mana burns while I chain dispel the lock. The warlock just barely gets away, but chain dispels when he comes back kills him without Pain Suppression up. 2345 vs. 'TSG' comp. I attempted the chain dispel burst, which failed. I tunnel visioned, but a swap to the Druid resulted in a kill. It was one of the first times playing against this comp so I have changed my mid-to-late game strat to mana burn more than dispel once we lose Heroism for burst. They don't really have drains which allows this strat to work out. If they try to get on me, chain dispel + free casting DPS is usually a fast kill even without Heroism. Our overall strat is train the lock and if I can get the druid to trinket a fear, an intercept stun into a HoJ in caster usually gives a kill. Oh and our mage dies soon after the druid does in that fight but at that point killing we killed the rest of their team off fast anyway. I was trying to save on video length. 2345 vs. 'TSG'. This time we don't fail our burst and the lock goes down to the skilled dispel train. Gogo skilled 1 button spam! Last fight is 2345 vs Euro comp. I went for mana burns over dispels early and in hindsight, going for dispel spam early on just puts better pressure on the opposing team. Occasional mana burns if I get a chance, wouldn't hurt either.
