Well as the Event #1 came to a close Wednesday night it ended up to be a great game for the beginners and thats about it. No offence to anyone that was playing, but when people bet $90 into a $2,000 dollar pot on the river with a monster hand all you can do is sitback and have a good time.
12 People attended the Event at a $5.50 buyin. The winner would take home $30 dollars for its trouble in the beginner field. Even though the play was not up to the level I would of liked, im hoping the players who played will quickly learn about how to bet when they are playing online.
The final hand played out as followed. With the blinds at 100/200
Eddie Bunyan Open Pushed all in with Ks Js
and was called by Grease7 who called with 7s 8h.
The flop was terrible for eddie as it came 7d 9c 7c. Giving Grease7 Trip 7s. The Turn and river bricked out and gave Grease7 the win as the tourney came to a end.
Welcome everyone to TigersmithPoker.com. Basicaly when I started up this page I was going to just make it a blog with all my updates and infomation. But now since im hosting weekly tournaments on Pokerstars, I thought might as well make it a page with Leaderboard Stats, and Results. Right now the layout looks like crap, yes I know. As im designing a Web 2.0 layout to make this page look really good. Dont expect it until 2 weeks or so.
While your here go ahead and browse through the site and make comments/requests and please let me know at tigersmith@gmail.com
Thanks everyone for your support!
