I have asus motherboard with AMD processor and i am a BSNL user (H500).
The thing is i have free download/upload only from 2 00 am to 8 00 am...The scheduling method which i use now is i used to leave my system on the whole night and at 2 it dials automatically using the rasdial command...The problem with this method is my PC consumes lot of power the whole night and the current bill here is getting fucked up...Even with monitor switched off and all other unnecessary stuffs power downed...

I came through one of the posts in some community telling that you can power on from your BIOS just by keeping the ups(power comes to the motherboard) ,i tried to do so but was unsuccessfull...Can someone throw some light over it?
how can i power on my system using BIOS at a particular time???
