just want to inform of succesfull rewrite SPD-EEPROM of a fsck'd up written unbootable DDR module :] it's easy to override blocking bios: just disconnect SDA of the chip and bridge with a switch boot bios in switch off mode, switch on at grub time, boot and rewrite eeprom with saved image then reboot :) all fine, memtest86+ finds no damage, this works with a AMD64 E6 MMU, MSI-7602e AMI-BIOS. this works with both MDT-512-16 and -17 DDR types, they use the SCI 24C02WI chip which implements no software WP and the modules have the H/W WP not active wired BTW lm-sensors eeprog seems to have a bug which omits the first byte to write on STDIN
