I have a good amount of experience coding though admittedly not in PHP and little in HTML. However, I've written things such as an IRC Bot (in Ruby) as well as some implementations of board games in C. I have also taken a course in C++, though I feel my own personal learning has helped me more. With this experience in coding, and my ability to learn things quickly, I will be able to pick up PHP and HTML both pretty quickly. I understand that I was recently hacked, but I have changed all my passwords and am no longer using a universal password. I am a very active member on the boards, as well as one of the longest tenured members. I have not had any real problems with any of the users on the site, except nerr, and I can be an unbiased party in any case of needed dispute resolution. I understand that being an admin isn't all shits and giggles and will require actual work, which I am completely up to doing. I have been a user on Wikipedia for over 2 years and I have over 2500 edits to show as proof of my dedication to the project, and I would show the same dedication towards administrating the boards. In conclusion, I believe I would do the job well because of my experience coding, my dedication to this site and its community, and my proven dedication to projects I enjoy.
