------------------------------------ -----------------Vocabulary Lesson-- ------------------------------------ --'Cause I'm lazy------------------- ------------------------------------ --iDx: i rolls on a x-sided die----- --: A skill's level------------- ------------------------------------ V 1.0 Skills #Regeneration: +D4 to your HP each second #Living Armor: Same, but for Armor #Better Health: +10 x to Max Health #Better Armor: Same, but for Armor #Surgeon: +D6 to your HP each second if you have Regeneration Also, gives "USe Heal" to you: Use a Player and they get healed (up to around a 200% "buff") #Blacksmith: Same, but for Armor/Living Armor HUD #Animated XP Bar #Text for aforementioned XP #Toggleable Level Up notification #Spaced out for readability Scoreboard #Doesn't replace default one #Shows Name, CurrentXp, Class, Level, Party, and an XP Bar for them #However, these are all snapshots - they don't change while the board is up on your screen #The screen lasts about 7 seconds and fades both ways Levels #Each time you level up, you gain 1 point. #These points can be spent on skills Shadowrun Style( + 1 for each skill) #You also gain access to better weapons at certain levels #And you have a higher HP/Armor maximum and start value #I can't set the max armor above 100 in game, so you can't use batteries or chargers, but it can regenerate with skills Classes #They are closer to being titles, and have no actual affect on gameplay. #Think of them as powerless jobs. Parties #It's sort of hard to explain, but you can: #Create your own party #Break up your parties #Eject people from them #Go lone wolf #And join other parties #Whenever you kill a NPC, each party member also gets the XP. #However, only the killer gets XP for killing other players. #No JEDI FIGHT CLUB here... Weapons #40 SWEPs #Only admins get toolgun/physgun/gravitygun #All the SWEPS (nothing else) report the damage dealt above each entity. #I can't get them to display above ones that died - they're sorta parented to them. Customization #All customization variables are in the defines.lua file. #If you figure you can write a script to enhance this, throw it in the plugins folder (make sure no variables collide) and see if it works. #Read the _making_plugins.txt file first. That is really all that I can think of other than thanking anyone on FP who helped me in some odd way or another to get this finished. If you need help at any time, type "/help" in the console. Oh, and -Badboy- - I like yours too. JUST WORK ON THAT HUD! Credits: Scripting: Kogitsune Models: All the weapons use the World Weapons models (minus a few) Not only will you need them to run, they're spiffy models too. The only one that isn't WW or default is the Annabelle model. I have no idea who made this. It's been in my models folder for a long time (1+ years) So, whoever made it, THANK YOU!
