Purpose of Position:
You will assist in supporting Xerox Developing Markets Operations Internet focused initiatives (IE Xerox.com, SalesForce.com, PartnerNet Portal, etc…). This will involve a wide array of application development from requirements definition through implementation, testing/QA, & production support. DMO has responsibility for 148 countries.

Job Functions:
- Content loading, monitoring, training, of information at the region and country levels. Assist in maintaining country portal's content being updated
- Provide research and development into new products to mitigate existing problems or enhance current functionality
- Develop training materials using tools to generate web casts or other interactive training simulations
- Develop and support new solutions, specifically new websites for DMO and additions to PartnerNet Portal
- Provide support to portal users on a variety of issues and identify/resolve technical problems. Respond to phone calls, email and personnel request for technical support.
- Track and monitor the problems to insure a timely resolution. Interface day to day with our Admin Network in helping them to develop their portals, working with a small team of people and also direct correspondence with management and engineering
- Deploy and maintain supporting software to enhance support for the portal, such as trouble ticket systems, Wiki’s, etc…
- Further deploy Oracle Single Sign On model and ensure is implemented in all sites used in DMO to allow one common and secure password to all DMO applications
- Work with Oracle Portal framework, Portal Forms, PL/SQL, Java, DHTML, HTML and JavaScript
- Some graphics design and UI experience a plus in using Photoshop to create new graphically components to support our portal
- Support HQ Admin responsibilities within SalesForce.com (page layouts, reporting/dash board developments, and advanced account/data management for the countries)
- Some Marketing Programs management and writing of content for collaterials and web deliverables
- Interface with building unique online eLearning courses to support our product array with predefined learning paths from Training & Curriculum team
- Capability to work in Solaris/Unix & Windows Operating System environments
- Additional Experience in the following helpful: HTML (Hypertext Markup Lang.); Java; Oracle Forms; Oracle PL/SQL; Oracle RDBMS; Oracle SSO (Single Sign-On); Servers; DHTML; JavaScript; and Unix Scripting
- Assist in setting up content management framework for country/regions
- Maintain and load new information supporting many projects within the Xerox.com environment. Monitor Office product portfolio and manage changes for 8 regions.
- Availability to work with people from different time zones
- Maintain a portal issue tracking system and follow up with Country managers
- Participate in regular meetings to gather enhancement ideas and suggestions
- Research future potential enhancements to the Oracle Portal

Education / Experience Required:
- Experience in program development, deployment, and management
- Experience in project management
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams
- Capability to understand customer requirements and translate these into solutions
- Content management skills and out of the box thinking
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal skills, and presentation)
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Strong customer and results orientation focus, driven initiative, and ability to work with minimal direction
- BS degree path in Information Technology, Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent with minor in marketing a plus
