-It’s good for promotion, good for discovering new music, but sometimes it feels that all it is is competition between bands, for play count/friend/views especially among local bands. 

-	mixed feelings cause you can see advantages and disadvantages.

-	purevolume and last.fm

-	discovering music – last.fm

-	promoting…. Myspace because more people have a page, easier to reach more ppl.
