SIP Profile: All inbound calls are forwarded to the “public” context. [root@flex2 sip_profiles]# cat avxvp.xml “Public” context. This is the context in its entirety, it merely checks the source address of the message and then transfers the call to the appropriate context, this is the way I will handle calls from different providers and/or my proxies. [root@flex2 dialplan]# cat public.xml My “avxvp” context. Has only one extension. [root@flex2 dialplan]# cat avxvp.xml Problem: I dialed 17005551212 from my test phone. Forgetting that I only had 7005551212 defined in the dialplan. In the public context, it matched the source address and forwarded it to the appropriate context. However the destination number didn’t appear. FreeSWITCH then went back to the public context, matched again, and transferred to the avxvp context. Repeatedly for over an hour until I stopped it. When I tried to place another call through FreeSWITCH, FS replied with 100 Trying, and did nothing else. It was stuck.
