So, I was playing a computer game. I had reached some sort of a screen in which I defined the appearance of the character I was to play. Here, it was a man - maybe in his 30s or 40s, with a fair amount of tan, almost reddish, hair and a pretty full beard of the same color. I think that I could see him from head to toe, but I can't remember anything about what he was wearing. The appearance options included, as I remember, something about the hair, the beard or moustache, the age, and the height. There were probably others. The options were basically just checkboxes. The only ones I remember specifically were about the height, and it had one checkbox for 5'3" and another for 5'4", yet both these could be selected at the same time. When I toggled these, I thought the man still looked like quite an imposing figure who probably exceeded both of those heights. In any case, I'd guess that about 10-15 options existed. They were covering most of the screen (and I suppose the man was shown in the background). I looked at the hair and observed that it was very detailed and well-done, and concluded that it was procedurally generated, though the images weren't 3D nor did they have a polygonal appearance. Whatever the case, I was impressed with it (after all, hair is tricky to render properly), and I played with some of the options to watchthe changes. I guess I finished selecting a character because I feel like I had entered the next part of the game. This part didn't make a whole lot of sense. It was like some sort of joke, where a very pig-like character in the game angrily said something like, "What do you mean, I taste like chicken?" after hearing an assertion that he did taste like chicken. Here is what I remember about how the actual game was played: You were given a couple concepts or items (or like the pig's question in this one), and you had to find a way to link these, using some other items/actions. I was now in a house (still with the same introduction with the pig-like character), as if the game started right in the background scenery to the character I had given options for. The house had various items in it and I was to use these items to link together what I was given (or perhaps just to answer the pig's question). However, I can't remember really any of the objects. I was in a kitchen and some items were on a table, but the only one I remember is a glass of milk. Here is where I probably wake up. This game had a peculiar atmosphere to it. It reminded me a bit of "Alone in the Dark" with the feeling of general mystery, but not as menacing. It was like this mixed with "7th Guest" or "Myst," with their puzzle nature. It reminded me, in some ways, of the scene with the Pale Man (when Ofelia enters his lair, where the table has a feast set but he is sitting at the table motionlessly).
