I'm not sure if it's okay for you to answer this question, but I'm just curious: Out of the 4 applications for packagekit, are there any good ones that want to work with pkgcore? not as the primary backend .. a couple of 'em put it as the second one i was hoping someone would do pkgcore Me too, which is why I was curious enough to not wait till 21st to ask :) i'm not sure any of them will make the cut, honestly. our slots are going to be super tight. which is kinda depressing doesn't matter how good the app is, any of 'em could not make it But to be somewhat expected considering past performance.. it's not all bad. less slots gives us fewer people to focus on doing a great job with so a better chance of increased slots next year That's what I was hoping would happen as well you've seen me talking in the channel ... i think we'd need 8 slots to be sure of not cutting anything awesome 6 is tough I wonder if similar circumstances are in other projects as well because if that's the case, making a case to leslie for increasing slots will be difficult I suppose a lot hangs in the balance this summer :)
