ok I'm trying to install vista and ubuntu on the same drive. when i got to the installation in vista it told me that the drive did not meet the criteria for installation. later i found out that the partition that i was going to use had to be made active with something called diskpart.exe which requires some version of windows to be used, which i dont have. is there any way that i can make this partition active? or ultimately, install windows?
