Let's see here...

IP = stateless
TCP/IP = built on IP, stateful
HTTP = built on TCP, stateless
WebApp = build on HTTP, stateful

...what's wrong with this picture? Might it have something to do with why the web is so goddamn slow?

And what's next? Is some genius goiung to find a 'clever' way to add a stateless layer on top of web apps?
