Act I Warm Up Scene 1- (NATALIE, ASHLEY, ARIEL, AND KAILA are in front of a house around noon) NATALIE: Hey guys! Lets go work out!! I met this awesome girl and I wanna look good for her when we go on a date tonight! ALL: Okay lets go! Wooo!(right arm thrust) (ALL exit-run out) Scene 2- (ALL at the park, a few minutes later) ARIEL: Hey guys we should get some water before we work out. ASHLEY: Yeah we wanna make sure we don’t get dehydrated! KAILA: OH no that’d be bad!!! ASHLEY: Hey guys we could bike up to Albertsons to get water. And it would be a good warm up for our legs! ALL: YEAH! (ALL go and grab their bikes and ride off) Scene 3- (ALL at Albertsons 20 min. later!) ARIEL: We could work out while we’re going to get our water! It’ll save time! (Points to the sky) (All nod) KAILA: We could do three jumps as we go to get our water! It’s really easy and it warms up your legs and is good cardio. First you jump forward three times. Then on the fourth jump you jump to the right into a squat. After that you jump forward three times again, but this time you jump to the left into a squat. So that’s how you do three jumps. NATALIE: Like this? (Demonstrates three jumps) KAILA: Yeah that’s right! Good job! You got it! (ALL begin doing three jumps towards the water) Scene 4 (ALL are in front of the water 5 min. later) NATALIE: We should do another warm-up exercise on the way to the cash register. ARIEL: But what warm-up should we do? (ALL contemplate in cheesy poses) ASHLEY: We should do lunge-squats. That exercise is pretty easy, and it also works out your legs. All you have to do is a lunge which then goes into a squat.
