{{{ #!rst Use subversion 1.0.6 RPM on Maxwell in ``/root/Attic/rpm/``; this RPM originally comes from http://people.redhat.com/jorton/Taroon-svn/. Note that this RPM has been hacked to install the subversion-python wrappers, so if/when SVN is updated, this hack will need to be done again (assuming the RPM hasn't been updated to include the bindings). Here's how to do those hacks: 1. Get the SRPM from http://people.redhat.com/jorton/Taroon-svn/. 2. Install the SRPM, then modify the SPEC file as follows: 1. In the ``%build`` section, add ``make swig-py`` just after the ``make all`` command. 2. Also in the ``%build`` section, add ``make install-swig-py`` after the ``make install`` command. 3. Add these lines at the end of the ``%install`` section:: install -m 755 -d /usr/lib/python2.2/site-packages/svn install -m 755 -d /usr/lib/python2.2/site-packages/libsvn install -m 644 ${RPM_BUILD_ROOT}/usr/lib/svn-python/svn/* /usr/lib/python2.2/site-packages/svn install -m 644 ${RPM_BUILD_ROOT}/usr/lib/svn-python/libsvn/* /usr/lib/python2.2/site-packages/libsvn 4. Add a line saying ``/usr/lib/svn-python/*`` to the ``%files`` section. 5. Build and install the RPM. }}}
